am suddenly interested in learning Computer Simulated Reality. I know in order to understand it I need to have knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Programming.





I am a complete NOOB at computer programming where do I start?





Currently I am also a Bachelors Student of Economics.





Can anyone tell me where to start. Which programming language should I begin with (there are so many)?





Are there any beginners books Simulated Reality, A.I, and Beginners Programming?





Any professional help from people in this field will be helpful

Its generally accepted that true AI will be written in a language yet to be invented. For a beggining interest in computer science and programming, try BASIC. Move up to things like Visual basic, then fancier things like C++ and java.
Reply:Start with a VERY simple programming language / scripting language. (Turning, HTML, PHP)





Then move up to BASIC, Java, and eventually the C family.
