I want to learn a language programming , Which one is beter ?

I know C++ and want to learn another language programming . Which language is good ? ( as Java , C# , Assembly, Python %26amp;...)

I want this language will be a useful for me . ( as C++ )

I want to learn a language programming , Which one is beter ?
In the US, Western Europe and India, c# and .NET is very popular among mid-to-large sized businesses, so it would be very lucrative to learn c# and learn it well.
Reply:You should learn JAVA , all popular companies are using Java , plus, you can integrate your C++ knowledge with it, so it's the best choice for you.

Good Luck !
Reply:i would think java is the best.
Reply:Since you already know C++ which is Object Oriented Programming Language, i think its logical that you learn JAVA. Besides Java is an in demand programming language nowadays.
Reply:Each of the languages you have mentioned are 'good' although some are better than others at performing specific types of tasks/calculations.

If you have no specific project in mind then I would suggest learning Java. There are free IDE's such as Eclipse or Netbeans which makes starting off cheap and easy. Java and C# are also VERY similar so if you learn one then moving to the other is a quick process.

This would set you up well for modern business systems.
Reply:Java is very useful and should come very quickly since you know C++ (They are similar OOP languages with the same syntax and such).

Lua would be a good idea also.

I wouldn't bother wit assembly unless you plan on writing micro applications or have another particular purpose for it.

It really depends on what you want to do. If you want to make Windows applications very easily I'd even recommend Visual Basic, C# should be alright too with Windows Vista including .NET support off the fly. If you want to make games you can use your C++ and combine it with other languages such as Lua. If you want to get into websites PHP is a great option especially with a C++ background (it's similar to C)
Reply:c# or java
Reply:I've done C, C++, java, C#. Java and C++ are similar.

But My favorite is C#. It's not quiet similiar to C++. But it's good for windows applications if you're gonna be doing windows applications.

It's easy and OOP. Java is also good, but to be honest, I havent used java that much. But I've used C# for diferent application (some of them for business, and some of them for my own personal use)

I'd say C#

Also assembely is good. But problem with assembely is (as far as I know) you need a PIC to be able to test it. Assembly is mostly used for processor designers. It's a little bit hard as it's all about 0s and 1s and working with memory directly ;)

I know a bit of assembely, but to be honest, I'm not a fan of assembly programming ;)

good luck mate
