Reply:You will learn "c" and "c++" computer language. This will very helpful in your B.Tech.
Reply:learn 'c' for basics.....

then either c++ aur JAVA....

But java will be better....

it has good future....

Better opt for Comp. sci.
Reply:the answer is one stupid yes:

most engineering courses require one programming course usually in C or Java.

The idea is not to learn programming but to show critical thinking and train for fast problem solving and analysis.

Knowing how to program is really useful in daily life but if you need the degree then work on that language and learn the syntax as that is one of the stuff many people have problem with in those courses.
